Tour de Deuce Nebraska complete!
I flew both rockets yesterday.
The first flight was about 12:45, after the LCO talked about it for 3 minutes, both motors
light and it landed abut 700 ft. away about five feet up in a tree
The second flight was about 1:30, both motors light again. Deployment was a bit later than
expected, but the parachute deployed and it landed about 150 ft. away.
We took lots of pictures, but they won't be developed for a while, I'll scan them and post
them when I get them.
Full report and photo's to follow as soon as the
pictures are developed and scanned!
Congratulations to and many thanks to David
Luders (Washington leg) for getting the damaged models to Florida in time to get them
repaired! Also to Jason and Eugenio for their fantastic effort to get them repaired
and off to Nebraska in time for this launch. And last, but certainly NOT least,
thank you to Andrew Wimmer for steping up to the plate at the last minute and performing
the Nebraska leg of this tour.
