| I received a note from a Michael
P. Scott II the other day. When I opened it I found these 4 wonderful
designs. There was no letter included with them and I would love to contact Michael
about his work here. So, Michael if you read this, please contact me as soon as you
can! While they are missing many of the
components that make a good DOM entry (parts lists, fin patterns, instructions, etc), they
none the less are *wonderful* designs. Mochael did not specify these for the DOM but
I wanted to share them with the world, and what better place than amoung our exciting DOM
entries. So, here they are!
From left to right we have the:
- Clarion - A 2 motor cluster bird with some
very intersting fin pods and a unique use of a ring through the fins.
- Cluster Thruster - A Tres based cluster model
designed for 3 or 4 fins
- Richtah - A two stage cluster beast with a
triplet of motors in each stage, styled after the Richter Recker.
- Tubuler - A two-stage tube finned rocket with
a unique look all her own.
All of these are wonderful designs and show the kind of
excitement and passion for rocketry that many of us feel. Michael put his thoughts
onto paper and sent them to us. I just love it!
