Boosting on a wide variety of motors, the Rose-A-Roc leaps into the air, gaining surprising altitude. At apogee, the ejection charge burns away a hold-down string that releases 3 large, impressive helicopter blades. Designed for a self-induced spin, you will see her hang in the air for a moment then begin to drop. Suddenly, the blades will begin to spin and pick up speed to the point where you can't even see them! Riding a cushion of air as she descends, the Rose-A-Roc floats gently to the ground, to the delight of all.

Recreated here with Art's permission, and re-engineered for a simpler and more precise build, the FlisKits Rose-A-Roc is a high end competition model that is now available to all modelers who have the skill and desire to compete with the "big boys"!

Also a wonderful sport model, the Rose-A-Roc by FlisKits is not beyond the capabilities of any accomplished modeler who is willing to take their time and work with the materials and instructions provided.

For those of you familiar with the Rose-A-Roc design, FlisKits has made the following design changes, while keeping true to the original Rose-A-Roc: New, precision 3-part laser cut hub that makes the rotor hub assembly a snap! Custom turned, pre-drilled nose cone tailored for use in this design! Precision laser cut centering rings to hold the rotor shaft firmly for many flights! Provided a unique method of attaching a launch lug for those without exotic launch equipment like towers and pistons. Double walled motor tube for longer life! High quality FAI SIG rubber actuators! For those of you NOT familiar with the Rose-A-Roc design, prepare for a challenge. Prepare for excitement. Prepare for one of the most exciting flights you're liable to see in a model rocket! Don't let the mystery and magic of helicopter models scare you away from this gem of a model. If you have built such models as the Borealis, A.C.M.E. 	Here we see a close up of the rotor hub as we attach one of the blades. In this image 2 of the 3 pieces of the laser cut hub are glued together with the 3rd piece being added last.
	This image shows the assembled rotor hub with all 3 pieces of the rotor disk assembled. NOTE: This is an earlier proto type and the Cap Disk (the part of the rotor hub visible in the photo) has changed slightly
	Here we see the rotor blades folded into their launch position with the thread in place to hold them down during boost. The thread is burned by the ejection charge allowing the blades to unfold and begin their spin
