Featuring laser cut fins, water slide decals, 24mm power and a unique look all her own, the Morning Star has that retro feel with a modern look!

Other features that enhance her appearance are the 5 forward swept fins, the use of toothpicks to enhance the fin-tips, the merging of the strakes into the shroud adapter and her large size.

Commemorating the 6th anniversary of the beginning of FlisKits, the Morning Star is a proud addition to our fleet and is sure to be for your fleet as well.

The Morning Star began as a small (12") tall model that Jim first designed and flew in the 1980's. When preparing to kit this design changes were

made to the body tube lengths to make us of existing FlisKits inventory. After a proto type was built it was suggested that a 24mm version may be a more exciting version of the kit.

With that in mind, we built a second proto type up scaling the model to take a 24mm motor. We then flew both versions at a recent club launch and let our fellow club members vote on which version they preferred.

The 24mm version you see here won overwhelmingly and that is what lead to the final version of this kit.

		The final Morning Star proto type on the pad during a recent CMASS launch. Flying on a C11-5 in this small field. This was flown along with an 18mm version to give the folks a good look at both versions and also giving them the chance to select which version would make it to a kit. The 24mm won by a wide margin!
		LIFT OFF! This lightweight model screams even on C11 motors. Light weight and parachute recovery dictates a large field if you want to fly this bird with an E motor!
