FlisKits ends its 12th year of operation and opens the 13th with the introduction of our first kit using bent-wood as an integral part of the construction.

The K'TNG'A model rocket kit has gone through too many design changes to describe, over the years. Many configurations proved non-flightworthy, and the ones that were flight-worthy went through additional changes until we have the craft that we see before us.

Features offered with this kit include:

  • Water slide decals
  • Laser cut detail parts
  • Raised panel details
  • Bent-wood construction

As with many FlisKits futuristic kits, the K'TNG'A enjoys a story behind her existence. Taking place in the fictional universe of the United Solar Planetary Federation (USPF), the K'TNG'A is the latest in the family of ships brought to our attention by the xenophobic race from the Horsehead Nebula, the Tarnk-Nak race. From the kit instructions, here is an excerpt, explaining some of the "history" of this powerful battle ship:

"Tensions reached the breaking point when the base at Devan-3 was decimated by a new kind of battle ship, designated the Decim8 Class as a result of the level of destruction rendered. It was thought that this was the ship responsible for all of the missing military ships, but that was not the case."

To see this entire story, check out the end of the kit instructions and watch the FlisKits web site for more fun and excitement in the universe of the USPF and the Tarnk-Nak race and all of the ships involved in their joint exploration of our end of the galaxy!
