![]() An HPR bird off of White-10 |
![]() Here's a rack of LPR birds including my MMX-Deuce (Diminutive Deuce), my 13mm Deuce (Deuce of Hazzard), my kit (18mm) Deuce's Wild, and my upscale 24mm Deuce |
![]() I don't even *try* to get a pix of the MMX Deuce anymore... ...here is the Deuce of Hazzard on a pair of A3-4T motors. |
![]() The kit Deuce on a pair of B6-4 motors |
![]() And the 24mm Deuce on a pair of E9-6 motors. Perfect on all 4 Deuces, a total of 8 motors! |
![]() Here is my son Joe coming back with the 24mm Deuce. |
![]() Then I happen to look over towards the range head and what do I see??? Bill with the Rhino that someone had found and returned! I could NOT beleive that he got this thing back! |
![]() Here is Drew Tomko's beautiful scratch built version of the Energia-Buran Soviet space shuttle concept vehicle. |
![]() A close up of the vehicle |
![]() Super close up showing the incredible detail of the custom vacuume molded parts. |
![]() Bill's Nomad with a D12-0, C6-0 and C6-7 takes to the air. I was responsible for the lower stage. I saw it fall but we were unable to recover it. No one saw where the 2nd stage landed, and the sustainer landed well beyond one of the stands of trees. Bill looked for an hour only to discover that it had been found and returned already. Get this... ...later in the day, the two booster stages were returned as well! This boy can NOT loose a rocket! |
![]() We had gobs of family visit us today. From left to right, my sister Sue and her husband Glenn, me in front of my brother Joe, my son Joe in front of my life long friend Jim Meyer (the boy who named FlisKits), Kathy, Shawn (nephew), Mike (Kathy's brother), Jeff (nephew) and Rebecca (niece) |
![]() Bill's been sniffing too many burnt motors... |
![]() As you can clearly see here... See? See what can happen when you sniff the tail of your rocket after a flight? Just don't do it, kids! |
A nice touch. We began each day with the National Anthem. |
![]() This boy was walking past our booth with his Richter Recker and kept looking over. I couldn't resist getting a picture. Beautifully finished rocket! |
![]() A clone Mars Snooper. Great flight! |
![]() Family and friends. |
![]() My Tri-Glide takes to the air. This was a REAL crowd pleaser, beleive me! |
![]() Pad Yellow-1, and we have lift off! |
![]() One of the DG&A Armageddon series of rockets. |
![]() A silver Corona looks cool, but man it's hard to get a picture of! |
![]() My brother in law's Deuce's Wild! on C6-5 motors |
![]() My Sprint'73 on flight #483 |
![]() An AMW Green Gorilla motor |
![]() The Richter Recker on a blue thunder motor (i beleive). I think this was the highest power Richter Recker to date! |
![]() Our booth on Day 3. Still quite, but a comfortable place to rest and chat. |
![]() Excell Jr. on an F37! A very kewl picture! |
![]() My original proto-type Night Whisper on her last flight. She landed atop a very high tree on the other side of the river after this flight... |
![]() Not sure of the motor, but a very cool shot |
![]() PML AMRAAM from the North field |
![]() Not only did Bill *get* the Rhino back, but he also launched it again on a 3 motor cluster! |
![]() The Decaffeinator was a real crowd pleaser |
![]() A Nike kicks up some dust! |
![]() Nice recovery too! |
![]() Bigger and better :) |
|Omar and Regenia with their pup Shelby |
![]() Tony's Astral Lance again, this time on an E9-8! |
![]() My brother Joe admiring the launches. That's Kathy in the extreme right of the picture. |
![]() Drew's Centuri Space Shuttle ready to go! |
![]() Beautiful launch and incredible glide from both the mother ship and the shuttle. Unfortunately, the mother ship landed in the river... |
![]() My naked Tri-Glide takes to the air again with perfect deployment of all 3 gliders! |
![]() John Sicker's LOC Bruiser EXP called "Red White and Blue" on a K1050W with 2 air started Cesaroni J360 motors! 28 pounds on the pad, this beast carried 2 altimeters (Missile Works and Adept) with a reported altitude of 6586 and 6482 respectively. |
![]() One HPR model suffered a mishap and the carcas came down on the launch field and took out another HPR bird sitting on the pad! |
![]() This was a very pretty flight! |
![]() Near the end of the NERRF event, we're resting. Note the American flag with the 24mm Deuce on top! |
![]() Here's a close up of the flag and Deuce. I loaned this Deuce out for this flag topper. It was great to look across the field and see this set up |
![]() A Super Vega finally takes to the air after many pad delays |
![]() A 3 motor cluster lifts this Pheonix high |
![]() My last launch of the weekend, the 2-stage Corona-2 |
![]() My neice Rebeca and her new friend Billy |
