dsc04101.jpg (36308 bytes)
Looking good!  Who could know that this would be her last flight....
dsc04102.jpg (85401 bytes)
Poor thing landed right smack dab in the middle of this swampy river mess that separated the flight line from the spectators...
dsc04104.jpg (115420 bytes)
Ick.  and yes, it smelled as bad as it looked.  This one is toast, but that's ok as I have newly designed parts for proto #2!  Watch for it at NARAM!
dsc04108.jpg (78485 bytes)
WHOOSH!
dsc04110.jpg (63648 bytes)
The Mean Machine shows her colors
dsc04111.jpg (60510 bytes)

dsc04112.jpg (79536 bytes)
Nice shot!
dsc04113.jpg (81684 bytes)
Typical LPR rack at NERRF.  I'm telling you, there were NO lines!

The Decaffeinator puts on a great show!
dsc04116.jpg (54883 bytes)
Newest proto type, the Oort Lunar Materials Transport!

This proto has been lengthened, the lower stability skirt enlarged and uprated to 24mm motors.

At the end of the day, Snuggles was wiped out!
dsc04141.jpg (28351 bytes)
The last day, I got to put up my Trifecta proto!
dsc04148.jpg (28509 bytes)
She flew great and gave everyone a good show.
dsc04151.jpg (49448 bytes)
Settings on my camera got mixed up and I had to futz with the color on these next few... Bummer because these could have been some great shots!
dsc04158.jpg (30274 bytes)
Looks great on her way up!
dsc04160.jpg (29774 bytes)
Another great HPR bird on the way!

dsc04165.jpg (47298 bytes)
My Borealis ready to show her stuff!
dsc04167.jpg (110511 bytes)
Mid day, and the booth is very slow.  Sunday was not a good day for sales.
dsc04168.jpg (81762 bytes)
You can see how slow the RSO tent was too
dsc04169.jpg (50254 bytes)
Sparkies were great but often required the water crew to deal with a small fire.
dsc04170.jpg (58001 bytes)

DSC04170crop.jpg (58369 bytes)

Waiting for the range to go cold so they can load up!
dsc04193.jpg (83753 bytes)
Nice boost!
dsc04194.jpg (50292 bytes)
This Mean Machine was CHAD staged.  Something hung up on ignition and she just sat there burning the lower motor.  Upon staging, she LEAPED into the air.  It was quite impressive :)

My Tres puts in a good show.
curtis_heisey01.jpg (51933 bytes)

dsc04215.jpg (26004 bytes)
Great flight and the last one I could watch before packing up our booth and heading home.
