James Mastricola Upper Elementary School Pre-School

I was contacted by one of my Boys & Girls Club kids (Justin) to ask if I would be available to do a launch for his mom's pre-school before the end of the school year.  I found a few openings in my schedule and we set a date!

Justin had several models from class (and a few he built on his own) that he wanted to fly.  In addition, I brought several good demo models to round out the launch.  All in all, we flew about a dozen models over a 30 minute period.  The launch was exciting enough (and short enough) to keep all of the kids attention.

The weather was good, though a bit breezy at times.  We lost one (Justin's Avalear) but otherwise had a perfect launch for the kids.  After I discovered that Justin didn't have any launch equipment of his own, and was clearly interested in pursuing the hobby after B&GC, I made a point of giving him a complete launch set with pad and controller (as well as his Thing-a-ma-Jig that went behind the fence).

To say the least, it was a good day of flying out at JMUES this day!
