CMASS - November 7th, Amesbury
With winter fast
is bringing its year of flying to a close. This is
their 2nd to last launch of the year but marks MY last club
related launch of the year as I will not be available for the
last launch on the 21st.
It was chilly, but
not as cold as I expected. It was also calm, but not as
calm as the weather reports predicted. Still though, the
clear skies and moderate winds meant a larger than normal
number of glider flights (RG, BG and RCBG) along with a host
of other models that are often reserved for calm days (Decaffeinator's,
saucers, duration birds, etc)
It was also a
great day to test out proto types and I was able to get more
flights on different motors for several proto's that I brought
along with me. All in all, it was a wonderful day to
fly. Too bad many had to miss this clear, cool day.
