CMASS May 30th
CMASS - May 30th, Tewksbury

The weather seemed iffy all week long, but the closer we got to Saturday, the better the outlook was.  I showed up with my coat and no popup tent as I was expecting cool and overcast.  What I found, at 9am was sunny, warm and dead calm.

Yep, it was going to be a good day of CMASS flying, though I was going to roast in the sun!

Lots of great flights, dozens of kids, Scouts and more.  At one point I counted over 70 people enjoying the day.  Not as many flights as I would have expected (maybe 200), but still a good day.

My big goal was a test flight of our upcoming Saturn 1B model (1:282 scale) flying with scale fins.  I had to work on the nose weight but finally dialed it in and got great flights on 1/2A and A motors, so that is complete.  I also flew my Decaffeinator, NERRF commemorative kit (coming in August), Nantucket Sound and a few others.

I saw many other FlisKits kits flying, including 4 different Frick-n-Frack models!  It was great!  You should have been there :)
