This short photo essay has been
created for the purpose of showing our current and potential retail customers what our
products look like in their packaged state. We respect the value of your retail
space and also acknowledge the risk you take every time you take a chance with a new
product manufacturer. This is especially true if you are buying the product sight
unseen.
To that end, we provide this
essay to show you what a typical FlisKits model rocket kit looks like. At some
future date, we will add to this products from our components section.
Each FlisKits model rocket kit
is professionally heat sealed into a clear plastic bag. The package back is clear,
affording you and your customer the ability to see the quality and condition of the
package contents. Additionally, each model rocket kit package features a strong,
double folded header card with company information on the front and back, as well as a
pre-drilled hang hole in the top center of the tag, making it easy for you to display your
new product line.
All of our kits contain a Skill
Level rating (follow this link for
a detailed description of each skill level) from 1 (beginner) to 5 (master
modeler) (NOTE: At this time, Skill Level 4 (the USS Grissom) is our highest skill level
used.)
Also, there is a color coding
schema used with our kit package covers. In addition to Skill Level, we have
provided a functional description to our kits. Each functional description also
comes with its own color "slash" as an integral part of the cover artwork as
defined below:
Sport models: Brown
Futuristic models: Slate Blue
Multi-Stage models: Orange
Cluster models: Salmon
Scale models: Yellow
Competition: Pink
Glider models: Green
Helicopter models: Blue
This color code schema helps you
to set up your FlisKits display and also makes it easier for your customer to find the
model that they are looking for.
